Go Create Care is a unique vocational work based skills service for adults with autism, mental health issues and learning disabilities.
The service is driven by a desire to deliver better life outcomes for individuals often excluded from mainstreq society and stigmatised because of their illness or disability.
Go Create care has a dedicated team with over 20 years of experience and expertise in the care sector.
We are committed to ensuring that individuals with disabilities are treated with fairness and respect. We provide Service Users with the opportunity to lead independent and fulfilled lives through the use of self management skills
The workshop provides a safe and fulfilling work environment where individuals progress and learn a wide range of woodworking skills with the help of trained staff. Through the use of ABA and TEACCH, individuals will learn how to use all the workshop tools and equipment safely in a low distraction environment.
We are proud of our tranquil location in the South Downs National Park and we offer the space and resources for individuals to gain skills in a wide range of horticultural activities including grass cutting, seed propagation, vegetable growing and hedge cutting.
We offer regular cooking sessions in our onsite kitchens to teach individuals a range of skills. In these sessions we work through visual recipe cards with step by step instructions to produce cakes, baked goods and more complex meals for one.
Individuals at Go Create enjoy spending time caring for our farm animals including our rare breed pigs, horses, free range chickens, rabbit and guinea pigs.
We offer short horse rides and pony and cart sessions which are always very popular.
